How to Get Help
If your parents or friends or partner are hurting you or others and you feel scared, here's what you can do. Call 911, if you can get to a phone safely, and tell them the problem.
Stay out of the fight. Keep yourself safe until someone comes to help or until the danger is gone. Tell a safe adult, like a teacher, neighbor, social worker, or school counselor you're comfortable with, about what happened. Remember, even though it might feel like it sometimes, it's not your fault if others, including adults, choose to use violence.
